For those wishing to study A level, we deliver OCR Computer Science.

We also offer Cambridge Nationals in ICT for level 2 learners who wish to spend an extra year gaining extra qualifications before moving on to level 3 courses.
Students study 4 units – three controlled assessment and one examined. Each unit is awarded 25% of the marks for the course.

Mandatory Unit: R001: Understanding computer systems
Assessment Method: Written paper OCR set and marked. 1 hour—60 marks (60UMS). Learners answer all questions.
Mandatory Unit: R002: Using ICT to create business solutions
Assessment Method: Centre assessed tasks. OCR moderated. Approx 10 hours—60 marks (60UMS)

Assessment Method: Centre assessed tasks. OCR moderated. Appox 10 hours—60 marks (60UMS)
Creative strand
Unit R006: Creating digital images
